Wellbeing Checkup: Give Yourself a Break

Eric C. Hunter, president and CEO of CareOregon, a nonprofit health plan, shares his best practices for maintaining he mental wellbeing. Hunter says the best way he keeps his wellbeing in check is giving himself a break when needed to avoid burnout at work to better serve his clients. Some breaks can include going for a walk to decompress, or engage with people he knows to see how they’re doing and talk about things on a personal level outside of work.
