Steven C. Anderson, FASAE, CAE, IOM, president and chief executive officer of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), discusses the importance of regular, daily exercise, detailing his workout schedule and routine he keeps to 5 days a week. He also explains how he avoids meat and keeps to a pescatarian diet outside of special events. Through these efforts in diet and exercise, Anderson explains it becomes easier to maintain his overall wellbeing.

Sandra Jee, MD, MPH, explains what helps her relax, check-in and keep going on a day-to-day basis as a professor of pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York.

Debbie Boone explains how excellent hospitality doesn’t have to be just for patients—veterinary professionals can give each other hospitality just by checking in with team members and seeing if anyone needs extra help. Excellent hospitality also creates better relationships with clients, allowing for appointments to go more smoothly. This all promotes better wellbeing at work and improving emotional intelligence.
